THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER IN IRELAND AT DUNDALK ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Dundalk 8.00 San Andreas (1/1)
Three-time course winner who was back to his best over 7f here last month, galloping rivals into submission; hit the line strong so step back up to a mile in his favour so hard to oppose especially with potential for a soft lead again.
Harry’s Bar won impressively here over 6f last month before running no sort of race in Saudi Arabia latest. He is a talented horse but I’m not convinced he’ll see out a mile so he comes here with enough to prove. That tips the balance towards SAN ANDREAS who is hard to pick holes in. He made every yard a winning one over 7f latest and with added fitness back up to a mile he should prove hard to pass. He is the only pace angle in the race and if they let him get an easy lead it only strengthens his claims further. The bookies have taken no chance with his price but he is by far the most likely winner for me. Current Option is 3 from his last 4 and is the danger but hasn’t been seen since October.

Gowran Park 3.20 Kristian Goingwel (2/1)
Smart type who has won 2 of his last 3 and impressed again at Punchestown when last seen in January; this his optimum trip and hard to oppose back over hurdles looking to exploit a handy mark.
I’ve been really impressed with KRISTIAN GOINGWEL in recent starts and he was only beaten at Limerick due to the step up in trip. He travelled all over the eventual winner that day Johnnys Girl but just emptied in the last 50 yards or so. Back over this trip at Punchestown latest he saw it out strongly and did it well from Goulane Jessie. Back over hurdles now off a mark of just 88 he is really hard to get away from. He is a strong travelling sort and he should get a nice toe in before picking them off. Pictures Of Home was only fourth when last seen but he would be the most likely danger if getting back to his best. Enough to prove for me to side strongly with the favourite though.
