NAP – Best selection of the evening
Windsor 4.15 Twice As Likely (7/4)
Likeable filly who has impressed winning the last twice; remains on a feasible mark and hat-trick beckons if things go to plan; should get a nice toe into it before finishing best of all; the one to beat.
The NAP won for the third time in a row yesterday as Chindit swooped late to win the Greenham at Newbury. Today we head to Windsor and TWICE AS LIKELY can bring up the hat-trick! This filly has speed to burn but she can be held onto as well and look for a late run and I think that will play out nicely for her here. She is on a feasible mark on her old form and really should be winning this. Major Valentine is consistent at this level but definitely vulnerable for win purposes. Pastfact usually needs the run on return so is passed over. Cherish might emerge as the danger as she wasn’t disgraced at Lingfield last time and if she is back to her best she will at least give the selection a race.

Market Rasen 7.30 Theocrat (9/4)
Really improved to win at Taunton earlier this month tackling handicap company for the first time; up 11lb but more to offer you suspect and this slight step up in trip can help; good value against the fav.
Made For You won nicely over C&D 3 weeks ago but he didn’t clock a particularly good time and up 5lb he is going to need more to beat THEOCRAT I think. The latter impressed winning last time and while an 11lb rise looks to be quite a lot I think he has potential to do better and looks the value play here. He travelled notably well the last day and if he steps forward again I have no doubt he’ll serve it up to Made For You. The pair do look the two to focus on but Barnay shouldn’t be that far away on recent form with the visor back on. Lucky Icon has been nibbled at in the market down in the weights but has enough to prove and with the front pair in-form should find it tough to get involved.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Windsor and Market Rasen on Monday as we look to follow up yesterday’s 10/1 winner!
