Race 6 Belmont 8.15 Tri For Us (6/5)
Good looking chestnut filly who has won 3 from 5 and finished runner-up on the two occasions she was beaten; doesn’t know how to run a bad race and was impressive over track and trip last time; more to come so hard to beat.
This looks a great opportunity for TRI FOR US to win again. She has won 3 of her last 4 and was only denied a nose on penultimate start where she ran keen. She is really getting the message now and she can win this before going on to better things. This trip looked to bring out the best in her last time and a similar run should suffice in this company. She is firmly on the upgrade! Tiff Has Spoken is exposed in comparison and has just 2 wins from 18 starts. Quite solid from a place perspective but vulnerable to upset the favourite. Similar comments apply to Kerman Rock who just isn’t running well enough to take this but should have more to offer over this trip. Piccola Signora looks best of the rest.

Race 2 Eagle Farm 3.04 Volcanic Rock (11/8)
Promising type who ran an eye-catching race back from 5 months off the track to finish second at Rosehill last time; sure to strip fitter now and open to further improvement so big chance to take this out; keep safe.
I’m expecting VOLCANIC ROCK to make all here! He raced with plenty of encouragement back from a break to finish second at Rosehill in the first-time blinkers and given he has the scope to really kick on this season I think he’s a good bet to gallop these into the ground. The step up in trip can unlock further improvement too so he looks to have plenty going for him. Tutukaka has finished second on both starts to date and also has a promising future. He should give the selection a race but without truly threatening. Wouldn’t put you off backing the reverse forecast if you did want some insurance. Of the rest It’s All Talk made the breakthrough last time and has a squeak if staying this new trip.
