THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT COWRA ON TUESDAY!
Race 2 Cowra 4.50 Roccaforte (10/11)
Shaped with plenty of promise when third at Canterbury on debut; sure to improve from that initial experience and looks to have an obvious chance of opening his account here against largely unraced horses.
There was lots to like about the debut run of ROCCAFORTE and with a couple of trials under his belt since he will be primed to take this out. His experience should count for plenty against the majority of the field who are yet to race. Lohnraki is probably the most interesting of the debutants and he did trial at Warwick Farm earlier this month. Still find it hard to see him beating the favourite. Talkachino and Zillions both represent Gary Portelli and they’ll be looking to pick up a place. Unspoken Star is also on debut for the Portelli yard and would be the one I’d worry about if there was a lot of support in the betting. Good opportunity for the selection though and he should have too much.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT GATTON ON TUESDAY!
Race 2 Gatton 3.13 Autumn Daze (1/1)
Promising filly who was well backed on debut before being run down late, beaten just 2 lengths; improved to go down just a head last time and with more to come she looks ready to go one better; hard to oppose.
With added fitness on side AUTUMN DAZE can make the breakthrough here. She has impressed in 2 runs to date and under similar positive tactics I think she can boss this field. She has better form than the second fav Rippin’ Ready and just looks a better filly to me. The latter did shape encouragingly on debut but will need to take a big step forward to beat the selection. Songzilla was only fifth on debut and needs more. Similar comments apply to a lot of the others. Golden Groove and Millions Star have had a few chances already so might always be struggling. Alsanta at a bigger price might be a bit of value to hit the frame but she will need to improve on what we’ve seen so far.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gatton and Cowra in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
