Windsor 4.50
This looks a wide-open sprint handicap and I am siding with the consistent JOY CHOI. She has won or placed in all of her last 6 furlong races including a good run here last week to finish second over course and distance. She runs on the same mark on Monday evening and should go close if in the same form.
The main danger looks to be the lightly raced Media Guest who’s two turf performances would put him in the mix. With improvement expected after wind and gelding operations he could give the selection the most to think about.
Windsor 5.25
Following a really promising debut this looks a good opportunity for Caravaggio filly ROSE BARTON to go one better. She went down just half a length and the winner Dubai Jewel has followed up since in a good race at Newbury last week. She already sets the standard on that debut effort and given she should be a lot more streetwise now I expect her to have too much. That’s very much being reflected in the market and obviously after just one run you wouldn’t want to go too mad but I see no reason to oppose.
Starspangledbanner colt Jazz Club has shown promise in two runs, only beaten 4 lengths at Nottingham last time. He can improve and if the fav fails to fire I think he’ll be the one to pick up the pieces.

I’m sticking with Mayson filly VALUE TIP here. She showed a good attitude to prevail at Doncaster last time and up just 2lb she remains well handicapped. This is tougher but I think she did that with a bit up her sleeve last time and if she travels into this as strongly as she did the last day she is going to have a big say in the outcome. I think 5/1 is a bit insulting and I expect her to go off a fair bit shorter once the market forms properly overnight the odds are likely to be trimmed.
Free Love goes well over this C&D and while she is on a long losing run I expect her to be bang there at the finish, perhaps finding one or two too good again. I actually think Han Solo Berger might emerge as the main danger as he wasn’t disgraced at Chelmsford last time and the handicapper has dropped him 8lb now.
Windsor 6.25
Tall Order is a strong favourite here which I’m quite surprised about as I thought CRYSTAL STARLET would be a lot closer in the betting so 10/3 has to be snapped up! This Frankel filly looked all at sea on debut despite being well supported in the market. She was given time and produced a much more promising performance when third over C&D at the start of the month. She should step forward again from that and if she does she will trouble this favourite.
Tall Order was an encouraging fourth on debut at Salisbury as a 2yo and took a nice step forward when second to Marching Army at Leicester. That makes him a big player here and he is the obvious danger to the selection who looks better value to me.
Windsor 6.55
The likeable GLEN ESK clearly loves this C&D with form figures over it of 311 and 2 of his last 3 wins have come over track and trip. That was a career best on the figures last time and he was always in command close home to score by a neck. As a result the handicapper can’t really punish him so a 2lb rise is unlikely to anchor him here. With Maori Knight, Gertcha and Starry Eyes all looking to push forward this could play into his hands late.
Prince Of Harts has won here before and hasn’t been running badly lately so could be the danger. At a bigger price Galactic Glow might be value to hit the frame. He remains a maiden so is vulnerable for win purposes but was a good second latest.
Windsor 7.25
I really fancied First Connection for this so it’s a shame he has come out now. I’m happy to put NOBLE MASQUERADE up against the unbeaten Tynwald. The latter clearly has potential but an opening mark of 91 is a tough ask in my opinion and the selection is more battle-hardened. He went down just a length at York and is still improving judging by recent efforts. His form stacks up and this stiff finish will play to his strengths so there is lots to like.
Tynwald will have his supporters no doubt as he looks to make it 3-3 but he is going to need to take another sizeable step forward to remain unbeaten. Rhebus Road was last of four at Doncaster and will probably end up setting this up for a closer. Leroy Leroy is often fancied by connections but usually comes up short.
