THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT BOWEN ON TUESDAY!
Race 3 Bowen 3.45 Free Dawn (4/5)
Promising mare who was knocking on the door when last seen back in July finishing third at Mackay; goes well fresh and scope to improve further so looks well placed on her return to get herself back in the winners enclosure.
The Aussie NAP landed overnight so hopefully we can follow up on Tuesday. We head to Bowen where FREE DAWN should prove too good for the opposition. She quickly reached a decent level of form last season and given she goes well fresh she should make a winning return. Man O’Ross is a decent yardstick but he lacks the potential of the favourite. I can see him running well though and he does look the biggest danger. Sarandos won at Townsville back in November but hasn’t managed to back that up since and this requires more against the top two mentioned. The rest all have enough to find on the balance of form if the fav is as good as I hope she is here.

Race 3 Grafton 3.25 Allora Enzo (11/10)
Likeable type who missed by just half a length when runner-up at Sunshine Coast last month; can build on that again and this looks winnable so big chance he can finally make the breakthrough here; worth chancing.
This looks the best opportunity ALLORA ENZO has had to get his head in front and hopefully he makes no mistake. He went very close last time at Sunshine Coast and his form prior to that stacks up too in the context of this race. Who Loves To Dance was a good second at Ballina last month and is the obvious danger if building on that. He has an unexposed profile so is definitely feared. Seaczar has already spurned a couple of good chances so I think he is opposable on the balance despite being fairly prominent in the betting. Vain Rich can do better and will strip fitter so could be good value to place. Hard to see anything at bigger prices springing an upset in here.
