MY AUSTRALIAN NAP IS LOOKING TO LAND A FIVE-TIMER ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 5 Ascot 7.34 Rock My Way (best price 7/4)
Unbeaten filly who won by a nose on debut at Northam and then made it a perfect 2-2 at Ascot last time, nicely on top late; open to further improvement and very much the one to beat once more; worth keeping safe.
With the step up in trip likely a further catalyst for improvement ROCK MY WAY should be able to remain unbeaten and bring up the hat-trick. She is getting better with experience and Parnham takes over from the apprentice which would have to be a plus. She will be hitting the line hard and is very much one to keep on side for now. Vevinsky has just the 1 win from 17 starts and is second favourite which tells you about the lack of strength in depth here. He is 0/3 over the trip and 0/6 at the track so hard to envisage him stopping the favourite from saluting the judge. Dad’s Bigheaded is more exposed but is at least knocking on the door and might be the one to chase the selection home here.

Race 5 Warwick Farm 5.40 Duke of Buckingham (best price 9/4)
Good looking sort who is eyeing up a hat-trick after winning at Wyong and then following up over track and trip last time; building a progressive profile now and a similar performance to last time would suffice.
It is good to see DUKE OF BUCKINGHAM finally delivering as he had hinted at these sorts of performances for a while. He has now won 5 times and placed 4 times from just 19 starts so is looking progressive. He is eyeing up a hat-trick and looks in the right race to get the job done. The only surprise which is a pleasant one is his price as I thought he’d be shorter than 9/4 as that looks good value. Taraashoq won at Gosford and has run well the last twice in defeat so not one to discount. Unrelenting has some solid form but needs more on recent performances to upset the selection. Too Much Caviar was a good third at Nowra which was encouraging as he was in poor form before that.
