MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON ON SATURDAY AND RUNS AT SANDOWN ON MONDAY!

Race 3 Sandown 3.25 St Lawrence (best price 10/11)

Unbeaten winning all 3 starts to date; impressive at this track on reappearance and sure to keep improving for a while yet; looks a Group horse in the making and should make it a perfect 4 from 4 here.

Impossible to oppose the exciting ST LAWRENCE at Sandown in the early hours of Monday. He is a perfect 3-3 and sat on the speed before quickening away here last time. Moves up in trip and only going to improve further so even at a shade of odds-on should have too much for these rivals. Princess Rhaenys is a decent yardstick and she ran well when third to Right You Are over track and trip last time. If she repeats that she should be the one to chase home the favourite. Barretta has 2 wins from 10 starts but he was a little below par here last time behind Tasman Park and will need to better that to have a say in the finish. Austrata is a good looking sort and he might be able to hit the frame here.

Race 5 Randwick 5.00 Royal Merchant (best price 6/4)

Good looking chestnut filly who has won both starts since her debut run and nicely in command at the finish over shorter here last time; can improve up in trip again; definitely one to keep safe.

With scope for further progression the good looking ROYAL MERCHANT should be able to bring up the hat-trick at Randwick on Monday. She is getting better with experience and going up in trip again will only help so struggling to see how she doesn’t make it 3 wins from 4 starts. Black On Beauty also brings potential to the table but does seem to have gone off the boil slightly after finishing only fifth at Canterbury last month. If she bounces back she could be the danger but a bit to prove at present. Arale ran well at Newcastle but failed to back that up at Hawkesbury and also needs more. Hellavadancer might be the one to finish second after winning at Eagle Farm and running well at Warwick Farm latest.
