NAP – My best tip of the day
Leopardstown 1.10 Chacun Pour Soi (best price 6/4)
Kept on strongly to thrash the opposition in this two years ago; showed he was still capable of top-class form winning a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival by 12 lengths; goes well fresh and should be hard to beat.
It will be great to see CHACUN POUR SOI back out and hopefully he can make it a winning return. He bolted up in this a couple of years ago and given how well he can go fresh I’m expecting him to take a lot of beating under Paul Townend. This C&D suits him perfectly and even being a 10yo now he is expected to have all the answers. Stablemate Blue Lord showed a good attitude to get the better of Tornado Flyer on return at Clonmel and is the most likely danger off the back of that. Captain Guinness beat Riviere D’etel on return at Navan and is another one to note but he doesn’t always back up performances and is often overbet. Gentleman De Mee beat Edwardstone at Aintree but has struggled since.

Progressive mare who made it four wins in a row at Navan last month, hitting the line with a bit to spare again; getting better all the time and deserves a crack at graded company now; expected to go very close.
This looks a decent renewal with some nice horses lining up. Gordon Elliott has won it twice in the last three years and he has the favourite JUNGLE PROSE who is eyeing up a five-timer. This likeable mare is getting better with every run and again stayed on strongly to win with plenty in hand at Navan last month. She deserves a crack at this company now and I’m keen to keep her on side. Stablemate Favori De Champdou is also on a hat-trick having won at Thurles the last twice. He looks to have potential so I expect it to be a 1-2 for the yard. Kalanisi Star is unbeaten having won a bumper at Gowran and then scored on hurdles debut at the same venue last month. He also looks to have a bright future.
