MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT COFFS HARBOUR ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Coffs Harbour 4.00 Terrameades (best price 1/1)
Tough mare who caught the eye running on strongly from off the pace to finish third at Wyong on reappearance; sure to improve from that first run for 5 months and looks well placed to get back in the winners enclosure.
With a win and three placed efforts from just 5 starts over this trip TERRAMEADES makes plenty of appeal. When you couple that with the fact she has won both starts second-up in the past she is comfortably the most likely winner here. She was an eye-catcher on return and with natural improvement from that should be able to go a couple better here. Super Dooper got her head back in front at Kempsey on return and has to be respected as the main danger here. She doesn’t always back up performances though so that would have to be slightly concerning. Test The Waters has won 2 from 10 but looks to have gone off the boil recently and will need to bounce back to have a chance of getting involved here.

Race 7 Rockhampton 7.28 Skymaster (best price 1/1)
Ran out an impressive winner at Townsville last month, leaving his rivals standing; ran below his best when runner-up here last time but better than that; good draw here and massive chance to get firmly back on track.
I’m fairly certain SKYMASTER brings the most potential to the table here. His win at Townsville was very impressive blowing rivals away and while he didn’t give his best last time I think he can bounce back here against these. He will ping the lids and push forward from a good draw and it’s going to take a good one to beat him. Dollar Dollar has just the 1 win from 10 starts but did shape well on return and if building on that could be the danger to the favourite. Lingjun Topgun ran on strongly for second last time and is another one that would have to enter calculations off the back of that but just 2 wins from 21 starts does temper enthusiasm a bit. Yubetido likely to be best of the rest.
