Race 5 Gosford 5.25 Hell I Am (best price 6/4)

Exciting sort who ran on strongly from off the pace to bring up a hat-trick of wins at Wyong last time; won 4 of his last 5 now so improving all the time; more to come yet and good chance to go in again.

There was lots to like about the way HELL I AM won the Wyong Magic Millions 3yo Classic last time and with 4 wins from his last 5 the penny really has dropped now. He can still keep progressing and I don’t see any dangers in here. I can’t believe he isn’t odds-on so 6/4 definitely worth snapping up. Russia Conquest ran well at Sandown but then was down the field at Caulfield and while she is a nice filly she needs more to try and topple this favourite. Shalailed only has 1 win from 9 starts but does place quite often so might go well for a long way but ultimately be vulnerable late on. Hi Dubai looked promising winning on debut at Canterbury but has been thrown in at the deep end here.

Race 5 Hobart 4.33 Did You Decide (best price 6/4)

Good looking sort who created a decent impression winning on debut over shorter here back in March; beaten twice since but done little wrong and with more to come can get his head back in front here.

This looks a great chance for DID YOU DECIDE to make it 2 wins from 4 starts. He is a smart horse in prospect and only missed a nose at Launceston on return. He moves up in trip now and looks to have a great chance of winning this before being targeted at bigger prices. Cloudy Nights won at Devonport back in May but hasn’t been in that form since and will need to bring her best here to have any sort of a chance. Just For Curiosity is 0/13 now and the fact he is third favourite for this tells you about the lack of quality on show past the favourite. Smokin’ Hard is 1 win from 25 but has run quite well the last twice and might have a squeak of rattling the frame. Wounded Miss also has a squeak but this tough.
