MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT DOOMBEN ON SATURDAY MORNING!

Race 4 Doomben 3.50 Ayahuasca (best price 1/1)

Progressive mare who looked better than ever winning over C&D on reappearance earlier this month, firmly in command at the finish; sure to improve from that and looks well placed to follow up here.

Hard to oppose the improving AYAHUASCA following that reappearance victory over track and trip. She was never too far off the pace and picked it up and asserted in good style late. She has more to come and this is winnable again so she really should be recording her fourth career victory. Fleetwood Maca is a decent yardstick and is running well enough to put up some resistance but hard to see her springing an upset. Renouf is even more exposed than the latter and needs more on what we’ve seen recently from her. Magnus Bellagio might be the value shout for a place as he has been running well in defeat and a repeat of that third last time would see him involved. Lasting Kiss will find this tougher.

Race 9 Randwick 6.20 Kettle Hill (best price 11/8)

Promising type who caught the eye on debut on these shores running on strongly for fourth at Sandown last time having got caught way back; sure to improve on that and looks well placed here.

Previously with William Haggas KETTLE HILL should have plenty to offer now Down Under and that was an encouraging start when fourth at Sandown last time. He will keep improving for a while yet and appeals as the most likely winner here. His win at Sandown (in England) stacks up so we know he has the ability to do well. Arnold has 2 wins from 6 but needs to bounce back to pose a threat to the favourite. Still early days though so definitely not one to give up on. Banju has been running well in defeat and might go well for a long way here but hard to see him beating the two mentioned above. Arnaqueur ran well when second to Democracy Manifest here last time and also has place claims.
