MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT MURRAY BRIDGE ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 3 Murray Bridge 3.55 Half A Dram (best price 6/4)
Promising mare who created a big impression bossing the opposition to make a winning debut at Gawler last month, firmly in command at the finish; sure to improve and well placed to make it 2-2 here.
Following a trial win it was good to see HALF A DRAM back that up on the track producing a dominant performance at Gawler. She is open to improvement off the back of that initial effort and is very much the one to beat as she bids to make it 2-2 here. She will bounce out and look to boss these. Turf Decision has won his last two but needs to improve again to handle this favourite and she might be a cut above. Still looks the biggest danger in this field though. Versetto is way more exposed but has won over this trip and gone close twice at this track so don’t rule out entirely. Two Odd Sox best of the rest but they all look to be up against it on what we’ve seen recently from them.

Race 1 Cairns 3.16 Salika Diva (best price 7/4)
Improving filly who caught the eye getting within a length and a half of victory on debut at Townsville in October last year; given a bit of time since and likely to improve so leading claims against these.
No surprise to see SALIKA DIVA top the betting for this following her encouraging debut. She won’t need to find much more to go one better and open her account. She will push forward and they might not see which way she goes. Axone was out the back on debut but quickly got the hang of racing to finish second at Townsville. She will be sharper again and looks the danger to the favourite. Just Jonesy makes his debut and this good looking type is also respected. Worth keeping a close eye on the betting for that one. Turn Bird also makes his debut but on breeding might need a bit more to upset these first time out. King Canute is also likely to need more time and experience to be seen to best effect.
