Southampton v Man City Preview

The last two League Cup quarter finals take place on Wednesday night with Nottingham Forest facing Wolves and the live games sees Southampton host Man City.

Man City have dominated Southampton of late and this may not be that different. Man City arrive in great form after brushing Chelsea aside twice in a week. Mahrez is in flying form with 6 goals in his lasy 6 games and seems to be favoured in the cup and will likely score again if starting.

Southampton knocked Crystal Palace out of the cup on Saturday which was a welcome break from their poor run of form. They will need play to their cup form over their league form (6 losses in-a-row) if they are to get anything out of this.
