Thursday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
AUSTRALIAN DOUBLE BANKED OVERNIGHT! Racing Down Under on Thursday from Penola, Gunnedah, Moruya, Kilcoy, Pinjarra and Pakenham. Overnight Double pays 9/2!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 6 Kilcoy 5.46 Thunder Moon (best price 11/10)
Left previous form well behind only run down late on reappearance at Toowoomba last month; improved to win convincingly at that track last time; fitter again and will love the step back up 6f so big shout here.
Another winning NAP overnight so that is now EIGHT WINNERS FROM MY LAST 9 TIPS and I’ll be hoping to find another one on Thursday. THUNDER MOON impressed last time and now the penny has dropped he could really kick on. He goes back up in trip to 6f here and that should prove ideal so hard to see how he is beaten here. Harryandthetiger is exposed and is second favourite so that tells you about the lack of strength in depth here. The latter has shaped well at Kilcoy and Toowoomba the last twice but still needs to better those efforts to spring an upset here. Dragon Pins was quite promising initially but has lost his way of late and needs to bounce back in a big way to get involved here.

Race 8 Pinjarra 9.30 Bopping Blue (best price 7/4)
Looked good getting back in the winners enclosure over track and trip back in the summer; wasn’t shaping badly in defeat when last seen; won fresh before so back at this track has an obvious chance.
In a race that might not take a great deal of winning BOPPING BLUE looks a standout. He ran out a convincing winner when last seen over track and trip and given he fires when fresh it is no surprise to see him favourite for this. He already has 3 wins to his name from just 12 starts and is building a nice profile now. Material Witness has 5 wins from 24 so slightly more exposed but he ran well when second at Geraldton last month and a similar effort here would probably see him as the main danger to the favourite. Al Quepone has gone off the boil lately but some of his old form stacks up so shouldn’t be entirely ruled out despite his disappointing run lately. Ay Tee Emm best of the rest but he is exposed.
