NAP – My best tip of the day
Ffos Las 2.30 Militaire (best price 11/8)
Improving with experience and showed that when pitched into a fiercely competitive race at Cheltenham last time keeping on for third; sets the standard here and with more to come should come out on top.
No surprise to see MILITAIRE well backed for this as his second over C&D before running creditably in a good race at Cheltenham last time should see him come out on top. He already sets the standard and will improve again so is strongly fancied to justify favouritism. Mylesfromwicklow is related to some nice types and won his sole point in October in good style so looks the danger on debut under Rules. He has been a drifter in the betting though which could prove significant as he will likely need the experience. Regal Blue is another one who likely has a bright future but again should come on for this. Filanderer has shown promise and is another one who could step forward here.

Wolverhampton 4.20 Hit Mac (best price 11/8)
Ran on well despite having raced keenly in the early stages when deservedly getting his head in front over C&D last week; carries a 5lb penalty but Billy Loughnane negates that with his claim so can follow up.
After a string of consistent runs HIT MAC deservedly got his head in front over track and trip last week. His form in defeat stacks up and now he has tasted victory he should be able to kick on. He isn’t an easy ride but he is working out how to race and with Billy Loughnane back up claiming 5lb there shouldn’t be any excuses. Glorious Charmer has won here before and ran creditably when third here last time so looks one of the dangers. Doesn’t find winning easy though and may well bump into one or two again. Big Impact wasn’t beaten far over 6f here last time and is another one to consider dropping back down to the minimum. You’re Cool is an 11yo now but is still capable on a going day.
