NAP – My best tip of the day
Doncaster 2.40 Arclight (best price 7/4)
Progressive filly who made a bright start over hurdles winning with a bit in hand over C&D last month and then made all unchallenged at Kempton last time; this tougher but she almost certainly has more to come.
I’ve been really impressed with ARCLIGHT so far and if she can learn to settle better she is going to be capable of an even bigger performance. She was way too good for them at Kempton last time and her C&D win before that was also pretty convincing. She is improving with experience and is taken to maintain her unbeaten record over obstacles. Greyval chased home the selection on her debut over hurdles here last month and is entitled to progress so looks the danger once more despite clearly having ground to make up. Komedy Kicks needed her first run over hurdles behind Nusret at Punchestown but improved to go close at Fairyhouse and looks comfortably best of the rest.

Wolverhampton 5.45 Donald Llewellyn (best price 7/4)
Promising type who defied a near two year absence to win impressively at Kempton last time, running on strongly at the finish; looks well placed to go and follow up as long as this doesn’t come too soon for him.
There was lots to like about the way DONALD LLEWELLYN quickened up to put it to bed at Kempton 10 days ago. That was his first start for some 700 days so it really was quite taking. As long as he handles this quick turnaround here then he is by far the most likely winner. He has only had 8 starts so there should be a fair bit more to come if called upon. Miss Sligo caught the eye to some extent when chasing home the improving Calcutta Dream on reappearance at Chelmsford and then only went down narrowly in third at Southwell last time so looks the danger. Trusty Scout doesn’t find winning easy but got within half a length last time so would also have to enter calculations here.
