Likeable grey who showed the benefit of a wind op staying on strongly to win readily at Lingfield, form worked out well since; improved again to follow up at Kelso; 8lb higher but more to come in this discipline.
With 2 wins from 3 over fences BILL BAXTER is a confident selection to bring up a hat-trick of wins at Hereford on Monday. He was a little frustrating over hurdles but has already looked better over fences and impressed again with how he got there at Kelso last month. He is up 8lb but that is with good reason as his form stacks up and I think he can go in again here. Honneur D’ajonc only went down narrowly at Leicester and if building on that will definitely be the biggest danger. Hooligan won 3 times over hurdles and despite being well backed here last month could only finish fourth. He will strip fitter though so could run better here and is respected. Upton Road is also interesting but this is tough.

Huntingdon 4.00 Post Chaise (best price 9/4)
Promising type who improved a chunk on chase debut to win at Hereford earlier this month, staying on strongly; up 8lb from that but deservedly so given he is obviously open to improvement; should follow up.
I thought POST CHAISE hit the front soon enough on chase debut and I was really impressed with how strong he hit the line. It is no surprise to see him up 8lb and if he improves again he should be able to follow up here. He has a fair bit of scope and remains unexposed as a stayer so I’m expecting another big run. Largy Nights has done little wrong winning over fences at Stratford last year and then chasing home a couple of good yardsticks this season. He has more to come so looks the danger. Enduring Love isn’t getting any younger but will likely run his race again and should be thereabouts. Just A Deal seemed to need the run badly at Hereford but still has a bit to prove off that.
