NAP – My best tip of the day
Fairyhouse 3.50 Viva Devito (best price 5/4)
Caught the eye doing plenty wrong but still finishing second over C&D on debut over hurdles back in December; better than what he showed at Leopardstown last time; this sharper test ideal and still has a lot of potential.
I wanted to see what the market made of VIVA DEVITO but now the money is coming I think he is a confident bet here. He is surely better than what he showed at Leopardstown and with this sharper test ideal and with further improvement to come I think he’ll take a lot of pegging back under Paul Townend. Stuzzikini ran well when second to Sa Fureur (who was my Notebook) at Punchestown and looks the immediate danger if improving on that. The two look a cut above anything else in here so should dominate. Transmission ran behind Good Land back in December but was beaten a country mile so might need more time and experience to come into his own. This still looks a tough enough ask on paper.

Kempton 7.30 Rooful (best price 9/4)
Likeable mare who arrives here at the top of her game having won 3 of her last 4 at this track; hit with a 12lb rise now but deservedly so and looks to have found the right race to extend this winning sequence.
There was lots to like about the turn of foot ROOFUL showed to win again at this track last month. She has won 3 from 4 in recent times and back up to a mile should take a lot of stopping despite the rise. Golden Mayflower was only beaten a head at Lingfield over this trip so will be the danger if backing that up. I’m not completely sold by her overall profile though and she is clearly bumping into a rival who is thriving right now. Third Batch keeps running well in defeat and she is one to keep in mind going forward but might be up against it here. Similar comments can be applied to Lightship who needs to better that run at Lingfield to have a squeak in this.
