MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT TOWNSVILLE ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 8 Townsville 6.10 Fodor (best price 6/4)
Likeable type who has knocked on the door the last twice and that form stacks up; still open to further improvement and looks well placed here to return to winning ways; should prove a cut above this field.
Despite failing to win since November FODOR is building a progressive profile and his recent form is hard to knock. He was only denied half a length over track and trip last month and wouldn’t even need to improve to win this. He has only had 7 starts so has further progress to come and should be able to salute the judge. Redavni shaped as though she needed the run when fifth on debut and then improved to win last time. This is tougher but she is going the right way and looks the one most likely to put up some resistance. Freddy Barbarossa has won 2 of his last 3 but will also need to find more to win this especially coming up against the selection.

Race 7 Stawell 5.30 Inala Michelle (best price 7/4)
Good looking mare who has returned to form the last twice finishing second at Camperdown and then backing that up denied just a neck at Ararat last time; can keep improving and should have these covered.
This looks a really good opportunity for INALA MICHELLE to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She seems to have the most potential of these and has run well enough the last twice beaten a nose and a neck to win a race like this. Boadicea is a decent yardstick and while she was denied the hat-trick last time she would still be the biggest danger in this field. The Superintendent is a little more exposed but has the form to get involved if on a going day. He’ll need to improve on that Bendigo fifth but that wasn’t a bad effort. Dennis Choux looked promising initially but has blown out the last twice so has enough to prove right now.
