NAP – My best tip of the day
Kempton 3.40 Hansard (best price 13/8)
Progressive young hurdler who made it a perfect 2-2 for Gary Moore keeping on well to beat a good yardstick at Plumpton last month; clearly open to further improvement and looks one worth keeping on side.
Gary Moore won the Dovecote with Sire De Grugy back in the day and he may well have another chance of getting his hands on the prize with the promising HANSARD here. This 5yo is a perfect 2-2 over hurdles on these shores and impressed with how he put it to bed at Plumpton last month. The runner-up Master Chewy is a decent sort so I think the form will hold up in time. He is open to improvement and it is no surprise to see him top the betting for this. Ukantango back on a better surface looks the danger as he finished in front of subsequent winner Springwell Bay when second to Fennor Cross at Cheltenham and is another one in here with a bright future. Rubaud is also worth a mention but he needs to bounce back after disappointing in the Betfair Hurdle.

Kempton 1.50 Scriptwriter (best price 15/8)
Likeable sort who did well on the Flat and has looked promising over hurdles so far winning his first two before bumping into Comfort Zone at Cheltenham last month; sets the standard so hard to beat.
Paddy Brennan was reportedly a bit frustrated with himself on SCRIPTWRITER at Cheltenham. He thought he hit the front too soon but I just thought he bumped into one in the shape of Comfort Zone and that is form I expect to work out well in time. He had won his first two starts over hurdles prior to that and still retains plenty of potential. He sets the standard on that piece of form and with further improvement to come should get his head back in the winners enclosure now. Nusret has finished behind Lossiemouth and Blood Destiny the last twice and looks the obvious danger for Joseph O’Brien. Rare Middleton made a bright start winning on debut over hurdles at Taunton and while this is a big step up straight away he must be respected if improving on that bare form.
