Point winner who raced too freely when runner-up in a bumper at Navan but looked a different proposition winning impressively on hurdles debut at Fairyhouse last month, making all; sure to keep improving for a while yet and looks an exciting prospect.
I loved the way FOUND A FIFTY went clear again under hands and heels on hurdles debut at Fairyhouse last month and with further improvement a near certainty I think he can remain unbeaten over hurdles here. He beat Parmenion by 10 lengths last time and I know the latter is fairly well regarded so the form should work out in time. Corbetts Cross avoided a clash with Hiddenvalley Lake and co at Clonmel earlier in the month and comes here instead on debut for Emmet Mullins and looks the obvious danger. He has experience on side and should make a race of it. Lily Du Berlais chased home Fun Fun Fun at the Dublin Racing Festival and should have a bright future over hurdles but this is tough enough and she’ll come on for the experience you’d imagine.

Fontwell 3.30 Kansas Du Berlais (best price 6/4)
Improving with experience and caught the eye running on strongly for a closing second at Lingfield when last seen; settled much better last time and learning how to race now; this looks a good opportunity for him to get his head in front over hurdles.
Connections must have been disappointed with KANSAS DU BERLAIS when he was turned over at odds-on at Sandown back in December but he was just too fresh and keen that day and put in a much more polished display to finish second at Lingfield last month. He is learning how to race now and with further improvement to come looks to have found a decent opportunity to get his head in front. He still retains plenty of potential and could easily be another nice prospect for the yard. General Medrano won head in chest over C&D at the start of the month but that race did fall apart somewhat and this will definitely be tougher especially shouldering a 7lb penalty. Goodwin Racing is capable of better too and will likely fare best of the rest.
