NAP – My best tip of the day
Lingfield 3.00 Beauzon (best price 15/8)
C&D winner who looked good running on well to win over this trip at Chelmsford back in January; excellent third over track and trip last month and then denied just a neck back at Chelmsford; going to take a bit of beating.
My original NAP is a non runner so I’m going to Lingfield now on Wednesday for my best bet. BEAUZON as been in great form recently and this past C&D winner should run a big race again here. There is plenty of pace on and he should be finishing best if he gets the gaps. He was denied just a neck at Chelmsford and runs off the same mark here. Pablo Del Pueblo is certainly capable if on a going day as he showed at Kempton on reappearance. He was well held off this mark over C&D last time though so the feeling is he needs more to win this. Lilkian is a good looking sort who was only beaten a length over the minimum here on penultimate start but he didn’t really back that up last time and more is needed back up to 6f here.

Musselburgh 3.55 Hidalgo De L’isle (best price 15/8)
Lots to like about the way he hit the front and went clear to open his account at Bangor last month; obviously unexposed after just a handful of starts under Rules and 7lb rise looks unlikely to prevent a follow up here.
This looks another good bit of placement from Donald McCain and HIDALGO DE L’ISLE is a deserved favourite. He bolted up by 5 and a half lengths at Bangor and remains open to further improvement so can make light work of a 7lb rise here. Can’t Stop Now and Garde Des Champs look the pace in the race so I just expect Brian Hughes to get a toe in off that pair which should hopefully pan out perfectly. Cuban Cigar is consistent and likely the biggest danger to the favourite. That wasn’t a bad run by any means when third to Scots Poet but on a line through Rewired he still has enough to find to beat the selection. Garde Des Champs remains a maiden but at least shaped well in defeat when third here last time and that looks pretty solid form too.
