NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 5 Ascot 7.05 Western Knight (best price 7/4)
Good looking chestnut who impressed winning at Northam back in August; beaten twice after but back to his best winning convincingly at Belmont when last seen; more to come now and should make a winning return.
I’m looking forward to WESTERN KNIGHT running at Ascot on Saturday. He looked thoroughly progressive last campaign winning nicely at Belmont on final start. He has been put away since and is open to further improvement so should prove hard to beat. Rebelzone is a decent yardstick going close here before only managing fourth at Pinjarra. She could do better but might have a bit of work on to beat the selection. Time Scale has won 5 times but she disappointed somewhat when last seen and needs to better that form to win this. Stellar Vista ran well at this track last month but failed to build on that at Pinjarra so will need to bounce back to her best to win this. Ex Sport Man and co all seem to be up against it so hard to see there being an upset.

Race 7 Eagle Farm 5.52 Deepour (best price 2/1)
Progressive sort who brought up a hat-trick of wins at Doomben last month, hitting the line hard; now the penny has dropped he should have more to come and looks the most likely winner in this race; worth chancing.
Great chance for the likeable DEEPOUR to extend his winning run. He completed the hat-trick at Doomben last month and with the promise of more to come can make it four in a row now. Birriecart won at Doomben and then was a good third here last time and he looks the biggest danger. Delyth continues to run quite well and she could be best of the rest. Bitcoin Baby has held her form well since winning at Warwick Farm and might surprise a few and emerge as the main danger. Sneak Preview has won 8 times from 32 starts but the issue with him is he is 0/6 over the trip and that would have to be concerning enough. It is 20/1 bar those so hard to see anything else managing to land a blow in here as the betting seems to have it spot on.
