NAP – My best tip of the day
Southwell 5.30 Dubai Jeanius (best price 2/1)
Progressive form this year making it four on the bounce over a mile and a half here last month, again staying on strongly late to win with plenty in hand; up another 4lb but should relish the extra yardage.
The five-timer may well be on the cards for the likeable DUBAI JEANIUS at Southwell on Tuesday. He has gone from strength-to-strength since going up in trip and if this step up to 2 miles proves a catalyst for further improvement then a 4lb rise won’t be enough to anchor him. He ran on well to win with a bit up his sleeve again last time and the way he has been hitting the line he should relish this trip. Mastercraftsman mare September Power won over track and trip last month but Freewheelin has failed to frank the form since and she was well held when only fifth back in trip here last time. Jubilee Girl may prove a greater threat if managing to find further improvement. She has won at this track before and hasn’t run badly behind the in-form Buxted Too the last twice.

Lingfield 2.50 Dutch Kingdom (best price 2/1)
Promising colt who caught the eye going close on debut at Chelmsford last year, just looking tapped for toe late; improved again in defeat at Kempton, getting going late; should love stepping up to a mile.
With the promise of more to come DUTCH KINGDOM can open his account at Lingfield on Tuesday. He has knocked on the door in two runs to date and should relish going up to a mile now. I liked the way he hit the line at Kempton and with further improvement on the cards now this looks a decent opportunity. Puntarelle was involved in a bunched finish over 7f here last month and she looks the danger if building on that run. Muhaarar colt Burdett Road left Roger Varian and could only manage fourth on debut for Michael Belle at Kempton. Back down in trip he has to be respected too but he needs to settle better if he is going to win a race. Hello Arthur and Oneshot are likely to be left vulnerable as this is quite a good looking maiden especially for a Tuesday.
