AUSTRALIAN NAP LANDED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Tuesday from Mornington, Newcastle, Ballina and Kilcoy. Overnight Double pays 5/1!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 4 Ballina 5.05 Inquest (best price 1/1)
Promising type who was well backed on debut before finishing third at Sunshine Coast earlier this month; sure to improve on that and looks well placed to go a couple better here.
Great chance for INQUEST to make the breakthrough at Ballina on Tuesday morning. He was well found in the market on debut and only just failed to deliver. With that under his belt he should have the gears to take this out. Push Turbo is more exposed having had 6 starts already but he did run well when third at Ipswich and he could run a decent race again. To So Few may pose a greater threat though as he went close here last time and with further improvement to come should ask a question of the favourite. Lion King potentially best of the rest but hard to see him getting involved on that run at Dalby as that form is simply not good enough.

Race 6 Ballina 6.15 No Love Lost (best price 2/1)
Impressed winning at Murwillumbah 3 starts back and then bounced back to form when beaten just a length at Sunshine Coast last time behind another promising type; big shout.
Hopefully The Rattlesnake (my Notebook in the 3.10) wins the opener as that will be a good form boost for NO LOVE LOST in the penultimate race on the card. He was beaten just a length by that rival at Sunshine Coast last time and if improving again should have what it takes to win this. Ever Bella has just the 1 win from 11 starts but she is a decent yardstick and she might show up well for a long way. Bullet Force is just 1 from 17 but continues to run to a consistent level so likely won’t be far away either. Temptress Katie won at Lismore but has gone off the boil a little since and she needs to bounce back to have a say here.
