Progressive form in recent starts winning 3 of his last 4 and relishing the step up in trip; open to further improvement and well placed here to follow up before going on to better things.

There was lots to like about the way THE RED KITE got on top over track and trip last time and with more to come especially over this trip he is the most likely winner in this field. No surprise to see him favourite and he should justify cramped odds. Unrelenting is a good looking type who got back to winning ways at Wagga last time and if improving again could be the danger but he is more exposed. Cognac has won 5 times already but he finished last at Warwick Farm and needs to leave that behind to feature. The Ritz has won 6 from 17 but has disappointed the last twice and is going to need plenty more to get involved here.

Race 7 Rosehill 5.00 Prowess (best price 11/8)

Improving filly who made it 4 in a row showing a good attitude to prevail at Pukekohe last time; this tougher but going the right way and with more to come should be able to win again.

This looks a great chance for PROWESS to win again. She is a winning machine right now reeling off a four-timer at Pukekohe last time and with more to come after just 8 starts she should improve enough to win this. She is 2-2 since up to this trip and will be hard to stop at the line once more. Pavitra got her head back in front at Kembla Grange and if improving again should emerge as the danger. Fireburn is 5 wins from 13 but is just 1 from 4 at the track which is worrying. Soul Choice is on a hat-trick and is unexposed but she finds herself in deeper waters here and is going to need to find much more to land a blow.
