MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 6 AT TAMWORTH ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 6 Tamworth 7.05 Sumptuary (best price 6/5)
Promising filly who improved again to make it 2 wins from just 3 starts at Muswellbrook last month, always finding enough; more to come as he gains experience and should prove the answer here.
Hard to oppose SUMPTUARY here from a good draw. She is 2 from 3 and doesn’t look to have hit her peak yet. This is winnable and it is no surprise to see her strong at the top of the betting. Acotango looks the danger as he is building a nice enough profile with 2 wins from 8 starts. Needs to better that Scone run last time but might be best to put a line through that. Bullawa Creek looked good winning at this track 3 starts back but needs to get back to his best to get competitive in this. Rubi Air was a good second at Wellington but this is tougher and she’ll need more to spring an upset in this.

Race 7 Kyneton 7.30 Kathy’s Beau (best price 2/1)
Good looking chestnut who made a bright start winning on debut at this track last month; ran on strongly from off the pace on that occasion and with improvement to come can win again.
This looks a good opportunity for KATHY’S BEAU to go a perfect 2-2. He impressed winning on debut and with natural improvement from that initial start should have a great chance to go in again. Magical Slipper is favourite at the time of writing and she did look good winning on debut too before finishing fourth at Mornington. Of the rest Psycho Star won at Benalla but then let backers down finishing last at Terang. Adki is more exposed but has won 6 from 35 so shouldn’t be entirely dismissed but does arrive with a bit to prove on current form. The other four runners all look to be up against it.
