NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT STRATHALBYN ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 7 Strathalbyn 8.20 Falaise (best price 4/5)
Improving with experience and showed a good attitude to prevail over shorter at this track on reappearance last month; will keep progressing and fitter now too so well placed to follow up.
With the step up in trip only going to unlock further improvement FALAISE gets a confident vote here. He shaped well in a trial and then won fresh last time so with added fitness he should prove too sharp for this field. Pretentious Lass is second fav but only has 1 win from 11 so I think that tells you about the lack of quality on show here. Bit Of A Rebel might be a greater threat as he impressed over track and trip last time and like the selection is going the right way. It is double digits the rest and that is hardly surprising as they all look to have plenty to find just to get competitive let alone spring a surprise in this.

Race 2 Pinjarra 6.49 Outfield (best price 6/5)
Promising type who didn’t go unbacked on debut and very nearly got the job done only beaten a neck at the line with inexperience probably costing him; should know more now so big chance.
That debut run should stand OUTFIELD in good stead here and I’ll be surprised if he is beaten. He only missed a neck and it might only be money borrowed by the bookies as he looks to go one better. He will likely sit handy and is definitely the one to beat. Red Flora is well related and makes his debut here. He won a trial so could be the danger if handling his first time on a racecourse. Land Of Fire has already had a few chances and needs to better what we’ve seen so far to get off the mark. Endless Bounty has a similar profile to the latter but was a blowout at Belmont last time and that leaves him vulnerable.
