AUSTRALIAN NOTEBOOK BANKED AT 9/2 OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Tuesday from Warwick, Grafton, Nowra and over at Geelong. Overnight Double pays 7/1!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 5 Grafton 6.25 Broken Hill (best price 15/8)
Progressive form in recent starts getting back to winning ways at Tamworth and then following up at the same venue when last seen back in February; can keep improving for a while yet and well placed to complete the hat-trick.
The hat-trick very much looks on the cards for the likeable BROKEN HILL at Grafton on Tuesday. He is improving with every run and has more in the locker yet so should have the gears to see this field off. Schiller Bay is a decent enough yardstick and might be the one to chase the favourite home. Exclusive is more exposed but did win here on penultimate start before struggling a touch last time. Bullinachinashop would have a big chance if bringing her best but that would mean building on that second last time. Hard to see any of the others proving good enough.

Race 2 Warwick 3.31 Breakwater Boy (best price 2/1)
Promising type who has won 3 of his last 4 now and did it with a bit to spare again at Toowoomba last time; freshened up and is open to further improvement and should be able to land a hat-trick here granted usual luck.
The progressive BREAKWATER BOY can win again at Warwick on Tuesday. He is getting better all the time and had more than enough to see off rivals last time. He should keep improving and brings the most potential to the table here. Al Pal’s Gal has won 4 from 14 but is a nice enough filly on a going day and if bouncing back could be the danger. She struggled at Sunshine Coast last time though so has plenty to prove. Artie Pantz is at least unexposed so if improving might get involved. Flank Speed won at Dalby but finds herself in much deeper company here so will need to improve a fair bit.
