MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT TOWNSVILLE ON MONDAY!
Race 5 Townsville 6.48 Redavni (best price 6/4)
Progressive filly who left her debut run behind to land back to back wins at this track before missing just half a length last time having been given too much to do; can keep improving so obvious shout again.
With further improvement to come REDAVNI is strongly fancied to make it 3 wins from 5 starts at Townsville on Monday. She only missed half a length last time up in trip but she wasn’t given the best ride and back in distance slightly she should go 2-2 over the trip. Don’t Tell Leeanne was back on track winning last time and could be the danger if finding further progression. Neveton is a fairly decent yardstick but she still only has 1 win from 13 starts so will need more to spring an upset in this.

Likeable type who was back to his best winning at Bairnsdale on penultimate start and then didn’t do a great deal wrong when denied just a head on reappearance at Ballina last time; the one to beat.
With fitness on side now PEAK ROAD is expected to prove hard to beat at Coffs Harbour on Monday. He only missed a head on reappearance and is building a progressive profile now. If he improves he should go one better and make it 2 wins from his last 3 starts. Inspiration got her head back in front last time but I think her overall profile might make her vulnerable if the selection steps forward again. Albanjo has the form to have a say but needs to better that return run when only fifth at Grafton.
