Monday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
AUSTRALIAN EYE CATCHER LANDED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under to start a new week on Monday from Bairnsdale, Taree, Ipswich and Wellington. Overnight Double pays 4/1!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 7 Bairnsdale 6.30 Silver Waves (best price 6/5)
Good looking grey filly who created quite a big impression winning impressively on debut at Mornington last month; sure to come on for that initial outing and very much the one to beat again here.
This race is cutting up with four non runners already at the time of writing so there really shouldn’t be any excuses for SILVER WAVES as she bids to make it 2-2 here. She won with plenty to spare on debut and should come on plenty from that first run. Precast got off the mark at Swan Hill last month and could be the danger if improving on that. Fighting Sanami is unexposed and won at Cranbourne last time but this is definitely tougher. It is double figures the rest and Fly Nice would have a squeak but she really disappointing when nearer last than first at Sandown and that leaves her with plenty of work on to get involved here.

Race 5 Taree 6.20 Swift Charm (best price 6/5)
Progressive form winning 2 from 4 so far and only missed a couple of lengths in a good race at Grafton last month; more to come for sure and looks well placed to get back in the winners enclosure.
It is hard to look past the improving SWIFT CHARM at Taree on Monday. He has won 2 from 4 so far and didn’t do much wrong in defeat when runner-up at Grafton last time. He has more to come and looks to have the gears to see this field off. Darci Diva has also won 2 of her last 4 but she did let backers down badly at Randwick running poorly. These are obviously calmer waters so she could be the danger as long as her confidence hasn’t been knocked too much. Korubela Miss has won 2 from her last 3 but like the latter disappointed last time and needs to bounce back in a big way to win a race like this. The rest have enough to find to spring an upset.
