MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT WARRNAMBOOL ON THURSDAY!
Race 1 Warrnambool 2.15 Nelson (best price 1/1)
Promising type who arrives here on a hat-trick having won over C&D and at Pakenham last month; 2-2 at this trip and with more to come he should be able to take care of these.
Great chance for NELSON to complete the hat-trick here. He has impressed the last twice and with further improvement to come should go in again. He is 2-2 over the trip and has plenty in favour. Port Guillaume ran better when third at Pakenham last time and could be the danger if building on that again. Sky Hero won at Hamilton but this is tougher so he needs more. Similar comments apply to Cotton Eye Joe who would be a threat on his best but this does look to have more strength in depth than that race at Hamilton which he won. Furioso is opposable on the balance of his form despite winning at Pakenham last time.

Race 5 Pinjarra 8.28 Magnum Class (best price 11/10)
Good looking chestnut who made a bright start winning over track and trip and then wasn’t disgraced when third at Ascot last time; open to further improvement so big chance.
Hopefully a few of these go forward as I think MAGNUM CLASS will be better suited by coming off the speed. He was a worthy winner on debut and I think he is better than what he showed at Ascot. This is easier and he should get the job done granted usual luck. Magnalee was a winner at this track before going close at Belmont. She has a bit to prove following that Ascot disappointment though. Beach West is 2 from 10 and she also needs to bounce back having let backers down at Belmont last time finishing nearer last than first. It is 14/1 bar the rest and City Of Sin is probably the best of them but even so he is still very much up against it.
