MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT ALBANY ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Albany 7.20 God’s Moment (best price 6/4)
Smart mare who looked good winning at Mount Barker earlier in the year and then following up at this track back in March; beaten twice since but this easier and likely prove hard to beat.
Back at this track GOD’S MOMENT should prove hard to beat. She has won 3 times at this course and looks to have plenty going for her back in an easier race. Millivoy is less exposed but needs to better recent form to spring an upset in this. Star Soprano won on penultimate start but then struggled a bit last month so also needs to get back to his best to upset the favourite. Oxbridge is more exposed and if bringing his best could surprise a few but I still think the selection will have them all covered. Morgs Freeman, Gifted Warrior and Our Pandemonium all look to be up against it on what we’ve seen recently from them.

Race 3 Townsville 5.04 Ciao Bicky (best price 6/4)
Progressive form in recent starts winning 4 of his last 5 starts; hit the line hard at this track last time and back up in trip should prove hard to beat; definitely worth chancing here.
It would be no surprise to see CIAO BICKY backed into odds-on for this such are his claims. He is 5 from 7 at the track and back up in trip looks a good move given how he finished last time so definitely the one to beat. Zouvilla impressed last time but he is more exposed and I don’t think he’d be a certainty to back that up. Mystery ‘N’ Magic won at this track and Cairns but has been beaten the last twice and needs to bounce back in a big way to have a squeak in this. Castile isn’t out of it either but he was held last time so needs to bring his best form to have a chance. Big Wise Dragon and Play Me Now are hard to recommend.
