Race 7 Churchill Downs 7.09 Munnys Gold (best price 6/5)

Unbeaten filly who couldn’t have been any more impressive completing the hat-trick over this trip at Tampa back in March; obviously open to further improvement after just 3 starts and looks the one they all have to beat as she could ‘still be anything’ at this stage.

Obviously a good race but MUNNYS GOLD looks destined for the top and she should win this en route. She won by 17 lengths last time and was miles the best. She is improving all the time and while this is her toughest test I expect her to pass with flying colours. Accede made a bright start winning on debut and if stepping forward could emerge as the danger. Red Carpet Ready won her first 3 starts before bumping into Dorth Vader and Guns n’Graces at this level last time.

Race 6 Belmont Park 8.52 Improper (best price 2/1)

Progressive colt who left previous form behind to win head in chest by over 10 lengths at Aqueduct when last seen; can build on that now the penny has dropped and this no tougher so looks to have found the right race to go and follow up in here.

I loved the way IMPROPER won at Aqueduct last time pulling clear by over 10 lengths at the line. The penny seems to have dropped now and with more to come he should follow up here as this doesn’t look any tougher. Warman Road won on second start but then ran really poorly up in grade last time. If he bounces back he could be the danger but a bit to prove. Jester’s Song is one to catch fresh and he has been given a bit of time since that last start so might be best of the rest.
