Thursday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
AUSTRALIAN NAP BANKED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Thursday from Wyong, Kilmore, Cairns, York and Pakenham. Overnight Double pays 5/1!
NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT WYONG ON THURSDAY!
Race 7 Wyong 7.05 Chief Conductor (best price 11/8)
Likeable type who looked back to his best winning impressively at Hawkesbury last month, 4 lengths clear at the finish; remains unexposed so can improve again and very much one to keep on side.
There was lots to like about the way CHIEF CONDUCTOR won last time and given that came in a tougher race than this he is well placed to follow up. He is 1-1 over track and trip and if improving again the rest will be playing catch up. Wondereach has won 2 from 3 and looks promising too so should make a race of it with the favourite and is the main danger. The rest look a fair way behind probably headed by Restrictions. The latter did win at Gosford last month but he finds himself in a better race here.

Race 9 York 10.00 Pacific Boxer (best price 6/4)
Improving with experience and did well to get his head in front convincingly at Narrogin last month as still doesn’t look the finished article; more to come and found the right race to follow up in now.
Hard to look past the progressive PACIFIC BOXER here. He impressed winning at Narrogin last time and with the rails barrier should take a lot of pegging back. Prancing In Milan has had a few more chances but that win at this track on penultimate start does stack up for the grade so she looks the biggest danger to the favourite. Anyoldtime finished last at Ascot and while she’ll find this easier she has enough to prove off the back of that. The rest are bigger prices and are hard to recommend on what we’ve seen lately.
