Race 2 Scone 4.00 Azayaka (best price 11/10)

Promising filly who was well backed on debut and got within a length of making a winning start at Gosford; sure to come on from that initial effort and well placed to go one better now.

Great chance for AZAYAKA to get off the mark. She went close on debut and is clearly a very promising filly. She is open to improvement and if she steps forward again she should have too much for this field. Orlabent ran well to finish fourth on debut at Gosford but was poor last time and has a bit to prove off the back of that. That could leave Perigean as the biggest danger despite making his racecourse debut. Afterlight is 0/7 now and looks set to find one or two too good once more.

Race 5 Cranbourne 10.45 Greyt Mumma (best price 11/8)

Good looking grey filly who needed the experience on debut and quickly came forward to win by 4 lengths at Stony Creek back in February; more to come and can follow up.

Hard to look past last time out winner GREYT MUMMA who looks set to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. She won head in test at Stony Creek and this doesn’t look a great deal tougher so hard to look past. Tsunami Sam has won 3 from 8 and impressed at Hobart last month but this is definitely tougher. Beaukati has struggled recently but she did look promising before that so if bouncing back would have a squeak but enough to prove on the balance. Double figures the rest and they have plenty to find to get involved.
