Race 7 Pakenham 11.15 Tahlequah (best price 1/1)
Improving mare who clocked a career best getting back to winning ways over slightly shorter here last month; fitter now and open to further improvement so big chance to go and follow up.
Hard to look past TAHLEQUAH following that convincing win over shorter here on reappearance. She ran on strongly from off the pace and up in trip again with added fitness on side she should take a lot of stopping. Ferrari Man won at Bendigo and was a good third at Pakenham on return so looks the biggest danger in this field. Of the rest Waitapu won on penultimate start but was a bit flat at Warrnambool last time and is going to need to bounce back to get involved here.

Likeable filly who made a winning return at this track last month and then only went down a couple of lengths when third at Kembla Grange last time; more to come yet so big chance.
This looks a decent opportunity for OPITO BALLERINA to make it 2 wins from her last 3 starts. She impressed at Bathurst and wasn’t disgraced in a good race at Kembla Grange last time. She has only had 9 starts so if improving should get back to winning ways. Calmer Karma ran well at Nowra but has gone off the boil and finished nearly last at Kembla Grange so has plenty to prove. East Harlem still unexposed so could be best of the rest if managing to improve again.
