Likeable colt who improved from his debut run to open his account over shorter here last month; more to come as his stamina is drawn out and very much one to keep on side especially against these.

Obvious chance for MOVEFORLEX to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. He was only beaten a nose on debut so is arguably a bit unlucky not to be coming here unbeaten. He has more to come so no surprise to see him a short price to follow up. Dutch Action is second favourite and has just 1 win from 14 so that tells you about the lack of quality in opposition here. She ran well when second last time though so does look the danger. Needs Remembering has a similar profile to the latter but not in as good form so is passed over.

Race 7 Ballarat 7.15 Sir Atlas (best price 6/5)

Promising type; unbeaten and scope for further improvement up in trip so big chance to complete the hat-trick here; should get a nice toe in before proving the stronger in the run to the line.

Hard to look past the progressive SIR ATLAS at Ballarat on Sunday. He is getting better all the time and with potential to rate better yet he should go in again. The Cunning Fox was so poor at Gold Coast but if bouncing back could be the danger. Reckoning is more exposed but he does know how to win having scored 5 times from 29 starts. First Mate is building a nice profile and looks a decent play to hit the frame if you’re looking for a saver. Almighty Will best of the rest but likely vulnerable off the back of that last run.
