Progressive form in recent starts winning his last two; nicely in command winning by 2 and a half lengths last time; 2 from 3 over this trip so lots to like in hat-trick bid here.
Could it be every yard a winning one again for FALCON TRADER? He is eyeing up a hat-trick of wins after impressing again last time and with further improvement to come after just 4 starts he looks the most likely winner in this field. Final Authority won at Belmont last time and could be the danger if in that sort of form again. Lucky’s Way is a good looking grey who can do better but she certainly needs to against those mentioned above as this could be a decent race.

Race 5 Mornington 5.45 Monarchs Brae (best price 6/5)
Impressed making a winning start Down Under to get his head in front at Bendigo last time; more to come with that under his belt and likely well placed to go and follow up.
This looks a decent opportunity for MONARCHS BRAE to make it 2-2 since coming Down Under. He was a useful enough operator in Ireland but definitely improved to win last time and with added fitness on side now he can go in again. General Firepower has knocked on the door the last twice and may well be the one to chase him home. Delicious Tycoon and The Nephew best of the rest but both need to find a bit extra to peg back the jolly. The others are definitely up against it.
