Race 6 Bathurst 6.55 Our Orator (best price 6/5)
Progressive form in recent starts winning 2 of his last 3; only beaten half a length last time and this easier so very good chance he gets back on track quickly here; definitely worth chancing.
Newfangled Jill has proved frustrating so that makes OUR ORATOR a standout in this. He was denied the hat-trick last time but only went down narrowly and given this looks easier I think he’ll resume his progress now. Do This All Day did look quite promising initially but he has gone off the boil in recent starts and has plenty to prove especially on those last two runs at least. Croatian Madame made the breakthrough on penultimate start but then got found out last time and also looks up against it.

Race 5 Northam 6.27 Ryewood (best price 6/4)
Left previous form behind to open her account over track and trip last month and with further improvement on the cards now she looks well placed to go and follow up against these.
With Pike in the saddle again RYEWOOD is going to be a warm order here. She impressed last time relishing the extra yardage and with more to come should be capable of following up. Red Rebel got off the mark last time too at Belmont and he could be the biggest danger to the selection. Covert Rose ran poorly last time but is likely better than that so she is also feared if bouncing back. Silver Bugg should have won more races than she has but if bringing her best is another one that should at least get competitive.
