Race 3 Kensington 5.35 Demitasse (best price 7/4)
Progressive form having won 2 of his last 3 and was nicely on top at Randwick last time in a better race than this; trip looks ideal right now and with more to come should be able to win again.
I have had my eye on DEMITASSE for a while and it is good to see him finally applying himself on a racetrack. He has won 2 of his last 3 now and with further improvement still a distinct possibility he should be too good for this field. Vintage Choice didn’t shape badly when fourth at Warwick Farm and if building on that could be the danger but a bit to find. Strombus won on penultimate start but let backers down last time and will need to bounce back to land a blow in a race with as much depth as this.

Race 3 Sandown 4.35 Perfect Ending (best price 5/2)
Likeable filly who is improving with experience and impressed making it 2 wins from her last 3 at Mornington last month; open to further progress now and good value against the favourite.
The improving PERFECT ENDING should be able to give weight and a beating to this field. She has won 2 of her last 3 and with more to come I’m surprised she is as big as 5/2. She only won narrowly last time but I loved her attitude and she is well placed to follow up. Frankly Elegant won at Geelong last time and isn’t without a chance. Ferlazzo is probably a greater danger having won at Ballarat and then held her form fairly well since finishing second to the selection last time.
