Monday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
AUSTRALIAN NAP BANKED OVERNIGHT! Racing from Australia to start a new week at Echuca and Goulburn on Monday morning. Overnight Double pays 9/2!
Race 2 Echuca 3.30 Princess Halo (best price 11/8)
Promising filly who was well backed on debut but could only finish fourth with inexperience costing her; only beaten a length and a half though and with natural improvement should make the breakthrough here.
Big chance for PRINCESS HALO to open her account. She showed promise amidst greenness on debut at Geelong and if improving should have the beating of this field. The second and third favourites are unraced so unless the market speaks hugely for them in the run up to the race I’m confident the selection will have them covered. Steller Eagle has had 5 starts and has knocked on the door the last twice so while she’ll be vulnerable to an improver she might not be too far away either. Hard to fancy much else in a race lacking any real strength in depth.

Race 5 Goulburn 5.45 Klum (best price 6/4)
Likeable filly who made a bright start winning on debut at Scone last month; should improve for that initial effort and armed with a good drawn here she is going to take a lot of beating again so keep safe.
Hard to oppose debutant winner KLUM as she bids to make it a perfect 2-2. She did it well on debut albeit by just a nose but she is sure to improve and she is armed with a good draw to boot so no surprise to see her follow up. Not That Easy won at Newcastle but has since struggled. This is easier than recent assignments but she still arrives with a bit to prove. Crossfire Road knocked on the door last time and she is another one that is in here with a chance. White Liar has the form to rattle the frame as well so worth noting too.
