NOTEBOOK BANKED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Tuesday from Pakenham and Taree. Overnight Double pays 5/1!
Race 2 Pakenham 4.30 Zipper Gate (best price 10/11)
Promising colt who showed more than enough on debut to think he can go one better now; only beaten a length and with natural improvement going to take a lot of holding off late on.
Armed with a good draw it is hard to look past ZIPPER GATE as he looks to open his account now. He went down just a length on debut at Echuca and looks sure to improve from that. In Print is an interesting debutant and could emerge as the main danger. Merrigold hasn’t shown a great deal yet and will need to improve to get involved here. Winds Of Grace finished last on debut at this track and while she could do better she will likely need another run or two at least before she can be of any interest. Similar comments apply to Dual Pressure.

Race 2 Taree 3.55 Corvalist (best price 9/4)
Good looking chestnut who has shaped with promise in defeat in 3 starts to date so far; knocked on the door again at Scone last time and if improving again will likely be hard to beat in this.
Great chance for CORVALIST to make the breakthrough now. He has improved since his debut run to finish third at this track and then went close at Scone last time. He has more to come yet and should have too much for these rivals. Rox’n’rol has finished runner-up on both her starts to date and if she improves again she could be the one to give the favourite most to think about. Highland Raider is 0/7 and arrives here with a point to prove so I think something can improve past him. Cynic is even more exposed and also looks to be up against it.
