Could it be a Racing League hat-trick for the thriving CHINESE KNOT? I have been with this filly since she finished third behind Nazalan at Sandown and she hasn’t let me down. She hit the front way too soon at Chepstow but galloped out strongly enough to win by 3 lengths. She carries a penalty but remains open to further improvement and as competitive as this is if she gets the gaps at the right time I do think she can go in again.
Churchill filly Pink Satin won on debut and then finished third at Newbury in a race that has worked out well. She will be the danger if improving again now pitched into a nursery. Eminny is also fairly interesting as she was second to the selection last time and should still have more to come.
I know CAPOTE’S DREAM has caught the eye several times in the past and in the main has become expensive to follow but he really flashed home for second at Goodwood and off just 1lb higher might be ready to strike again. This is fiercely competitive and it’s annoying to see him near the top of the betting but I am still going to side with him. He is some 11lb below his last winning mark and looks worth chancing.
Plenty of dangers in a race like this and the market is also speaking positively about Conquistador. He is still a 3yo and remains unexposed but will need to bounce back from that poor showing at Newmarket. I know the yard think a fair bit of him so he could threaten. At a massive price Treacherous might have a squeak but he does need everything to drop right.

It would be no surprise to see CLIPSHAM LA HABANA a real gamble here. Looking at the race 9/1 just looks too big! He is lightly raced and has gone close the last twice. He only went down half a length at Lingfield last time and that form has been franked with the third Hydration winning next time out. Even the horse that was last Pinafore has gone in since.
Libra Tiger deserved to get his head back in front after a string of consistent efforts and up 5lb is another one I expect to get competitive here. Lulworth Cove finished last at Chester but that track didn’t suit and if bouncing back off a 1lb lower mark she might be value to rattle the frame at what looks a big price.

Another competitive race but there is one I like in here and that is HAT TOSS For David Loughnane. Son Billy takes the ride and claims a handy 3lb and this good looker impressed beating Zoukster at Sandown on penultimate start. He wasn’t as good at Newmarket but back up to a mile should suit and he still has potential off this mark for me. They should go a good gallop and that will help him settle and I think he’ll be lengthening in good style up the hill.
Zoukster won his next start to frank that Sandown form and actually reopposes here so could be the danger. He needs to prove he can be as effective up to a mile though. Of the rest Man Of Eden continues to leave the impression there is more to come and he ran well when third at Goodwood last time but he seems a bit short at 4/1.

This is arguably the toughest race of the night and a tentative vote goes to METABOLT bouncing back. I’m not really sure why they bothered going over to Galway as that was a tough ask and he just didn’t seem suited by the race. He was progressing nicely prior to that and could still have more to offer off a mark of just 84. He has a bit to prove off the back of that last run but at around 10/1 I think he is worth chancing.
Chartwell House won by 4 lengths at Haydock on penultimate start and then bumped into Ramazan last week. He should give his running and likely won’t be far away. Metal Merchant was a good fifth at Goodwood last time and is another one that might show up well.

The thriving GALLANT LION continues to go from strength to strength competing the hat-trick impressively at Sandown last month. He was angled out and quickened away like a smart horse when asked. A further 7lb rise obviously asks a few more questions here but he is open to improvement up slightly in trip again and with Saffie Osborne in the saddle he clearly has a great chance of landing the four-timer.
Fulfilled has won 2 of his last 3 starts now and kept on well to win with a bit to spare last time so looks the danger. Graignes bolted up at Kempton when last seen and is another one interesting if transferring that form back on to turf here. He is 8lb higher though so will need to find more to come out on top.

Tiffany is undoubtedly a progressive filly and I have been keeping her on side in recent start but I do think CUMULONIMBUS represents better value here. He has been stepping forward himself winning 3 of his last 4 starts and he showed a good attitude to prevail at Yarmouth a couple of weeks back, making all the running. He will go forward and it’ll take a good one to peg him back off just a 4lb higher mark.
Spirit Dancer ran out an impressive winner at York last month beating a good yardstick in Box To Box and might be going a bit under the radar off a 5lb higher mark. Reach is eyeing up a hat-trick and she is another one that could get seriously competitive.
