MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT CAULFIELD ON SATURDAY MORNING!

Race 3 Caulfield 3.25 Tropical Squall (best price 10/11)

Progressive filly who has won 3 of her first 4 starts and looked particularly good winning here last month; open to further improvement up in trip again and should have these covered.

Forward tactics saw TROPICAL SQUALL to good effect winning the Flight Stakes at this track last month. She will push forward again and will likely relish the extra yardage here. She has more to come and can make it 4 wins from 5 starts. Autumn Angel is a good looker and she has been running well so looks the one to chase the favourite home. Konasana is also a decent yardstick and she won at Moonee Valley last time so also has a chance.

Race 5 Randwick 4.55 Commemorative (best price 1/1)

Promising filly who created a big impression bolting up by 5 lengths on debut at Canterbury on sole start back in June; open to improvement and can make it a perfect 2-2 here.

Hard to look past COMMEMORATIVE following that dominant debut win. She trounced the opposition by 5 lengths and despite a wide draw here has strong claims of following up. We haven’t seen her since June but she is clearly quite exciting and is expected to have too much. Kazou has won 3 from 6 overall and has decent form to her name so looks the danger. Overriding is another on capable of running well but needs more to spring an upset.
