AUSTRALIAN EYE CATCHER BANKED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Tuesday from Gosford and Mornington. Overnight Double pays 9/2!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 3 Mornington 3.30 Heiress (best price 11/8)
It is hard to look past HEIRESS here as she bids to make the breakthrough. She left her debut run behind at Flemington to go close at Ballarat last month and with further improvement on the cards she is well placed to go one better now. This is a very winnable race so there shouldn’t be too many excuses. The only conceivable danger looks to be Our Cracklin Rosie but she has had 6 chances already albeit finishing runner-up 3 times. She seems a bit one paced and will need the favourite to falter if she is to get her head in front. The rest are all debutants so should do better for the outing.
NB – Second best tip overnight
Race 7 Gosford 5.45 Kadall (best price 6/4)
Great chance for the improving KADALL to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. He was only denied half a length on debut which was a big run and then improved again to prevail by a hard fought nose last time. He has more to come yet and this race lacks strength in depth so I’m confident he can go and follow up. Dirty Merchant impressed winning on penultimate start before being found out somewhat in stronger company at Scone last time. If bouncing back he looks the danger but Tim’s Principal is also respected as he arrives in winning form but he is exposed being a 10yo now.
