I was impressed with that debut win from DASHING RUPERT and he looks well placed here to make it a perfect 2-2. He stalked a strong pace the last day before proving too strong so I expect the extra yardage to suit here despite an awkward draw. He has a lot of potential and should get the job done.

This doesn’t look the strongest race on paper so CHARCOALS must have a great chance to make the breakthrough. He is by Too Darn Hot and is unexposed after just two starts. He was only beaten a couple of lengths into third last time and with further improvement to come is worth keeping on side.
