Ayr 1.10
An open race to kick off ITV on Saturday! Asta La Pasta won yesterday so will likely be taken out so probably just 7 runners and 2 places up for grabs. TRAPRAIN LAW was second in this last year and could be up to going one better. He can build on that Cheltenham run and go close.
Western Diego was a good second at Punchestown and if coming forward again could emerge as the biggest danger.
Newbury 1.25
This should be a good starting point for SUNWAY. He was highly tried last season and will find this much easier on return. His trainer has said he is fit enough to do himself justice and with more to come as a 4yo should take a lot of beating.
Ancient Wisdom is still unexposed and with more to come looks the biggest threat. Bellum Justum is also respected.
Ayr 1.43
I can see MASACCIO being the one to beat here. He has run well all season and if he jumps better then he should prove a cut above this field. He needs to prove himself over the trip but if his stamina holds out I fancy him to run a big race.
Loughglynn could easily improve and looks the danger as the yard won this last year too with Sharjah.
Newbury 2.00
I’m keen to oppose the top of the market here and BRIGHT TIMES AHEAD looks the one to side with. This filly by Lope De Vega was impressive winning on debut and the form has been franked since too. She can improve and is worth keeping on side.
Heavens Gate was poor on final start in the Breeders’ Cup but had looked progressive prior and is the danger.
Ayr 2.15
After just the 4 starts under Rules KABRAL DU MATHAN could easily improve again to win this. He bumped into Secret Squirrel at Windsor and before that Fiercely Proud so the form is stacking up. He has more to come and is a danger to all in this.
Ethical Diamond looked good winning at Punchestown and certainly wasn’t disgraced behind Kargese so should run well and threaten.
Newbury 2.35
A lot of potential on show as you’d expect for the Greenham but RASHABAR has experience on side and could prove hard to beat. He won the Coventry last year and then went down narrowly in two Group 1s. He can do better again and should be hard to beat.
Jonquil won on debut and then wasn’t at his best at Doncaster. He could do better and might be the one to give the fav most to think about.
Ayr 2.55
This is arguably the toughest race of the day and LAVIDA ADIVA gets the vote. She bolted up at Kelso last month which should leave her spot on for this. She is still on an upward curve and is obviously unexposed over this distance.
Rockola Vogue has won 2 of her last 4 and is also progressive so looks the biggest danger to the selection but plenty in with a chance.
Newbury 3.12
Dylan Cunha has always thought a lot of SILVER SWORD so it was good to see him land a nice pot in Dubai last month. He hasn’t always been the easiest to train but things seem to be clicking now and Spencer also looks a good jockey booking to plenty going for him.
James Mchenry was in good form when last seen and with more to come could be dangerous off his current mark.
Ayr 3.35
Things clearly haven’t gone to plan for MACDERMOTT this season but he still has a decent chance in this. He obviously won the race last year so is well suited by this test and off just a 5lb higher mark could be primed to go close again.
Olympic Man is a stablemate to the selection and arrives in winning form so could be the danger. Hasthing is another I can see running well.
ITV Racing Double
Plenty of racing on ITV on Saturday so I have combined our two strongest bets to make a nice double. Pays 14/1!

I know you guys love a Lucky 15 especially on a Saturday so these are four horses (on ITV Racing) I can see running well which I’ve combined to try and maximise winnings. Pays 650/1!
